Story

On Friday 13th December, loving and devoted Father and Husband, Harvey Rawlings, 30, tragically lost his life in a car accident whilst driving home from work. The cause of death is yet to be explained.
Harvey leaves behind his wife Lizzie, 31, and his three beautiful children Rory (18 months), Rupert (4) and Marilyn (11).

As you can imagine this catastrophic event has completely and utterly ripped apart their family, just days before Christmas, leaving Lizzie to now navigate life as a widow, and the children without a father.
Harvey was a carpenter, and a valued member of the community, always helping others when he could and volunteering at local events. In recent years, having recovered from a devastating house fire, he also ran men’s circles with his friends, alongside foraging events and children’s mushroom classes. Harvey was loved by so many, and his loss has been felt so deeply across various communities.

This fundraising page has been set up to help pay for funeral costs and to support his young family to cover rent and bills for the next few months.
Harvey was the sole provider of income for his family, as his wife Lizzie had been diagnosed with a long term neurological illness since 2020.

We understand this time of year can be very financially difficult for everyone but if you can spare a donation, to help lift the financial strain for this family at an already extremely challenging time, it would be very much appreciated 🙏
