Story

Starting at midnight on the 9th of October 2021, myself and Luke Cordas are intending to climb Pen Y Fan, in Wales, as many times as possible in 36 hours whilst carrying 51lbs (23kg). The challenge will see us cover 5 miles per ascent and descent, with each climb being approximately 446m of elevation.

Our minimum target is 12 times (1 attempt every 3 hours), which would accumulate a total of 60 miles and over 5000m of elevation - over half the height of Mt. Everest.

My Dad was taken ill earlier this year, he was initially sent to the Walton Centre in Liverpool, and then to Clatterbridge Rehabilitation Centre on The Wirral . The treatment he received and the quality of care was exceptional, although his life has now changed completely, the support he received from both hospitals has given him the Will fo fight his condition, the people who work at these hospitals are heroes, any donations will be put to good use, it will make their lives easier and therefore help.

As mentioned before, Luke and I are doing this challenge together and he is raising money for Swindon amd Glucester MIND. Should you also wish to donate to thiz wonderful charity, please follow this link:
