I've raised £10000 to fund treatment to help a child beat terminal cancer

The pain of the parents who have been told to take their child home because he is dying of cancer is indescribable.
Hashim, 6 lives in Rawalpindi, Pakistan and was diagnosed with blood cancer almost 2 years ago. Two days earlier, his parents were told the devastating news that his cancer is terminal. Hashim was always a happy boy, who loved to dance, and play with his siblings. However, this soon changed when the excruciating pain that the cancer caused made him scream out in utter agony day after day, night after night and the happy child turned into a sullen sad child, watching other children play but not able to muster enough courage to even lift a football.
It has been a painful and harrowing journey, not for Hashim but for his parents too who have been staying at his bedside night after night, making sure he is comfortable, but above all making sure there was someone with him at all times through this confusing experience.
After a meeting with the head consultant, Hashim's parents shave decided to take him to the USA for treatment of adequate funds are raised as there is an 80% chance of survival compared to just 20% if he is treated in Karachi due to there being more advanced cancer treatment in the USA.
Hashim's parents are ordinary people, his mother used to work as a teacher in a nearby school but had to leave the job due to the diagnosis and his father earns a small salary. It breaks their heart to think their child may pass away due to them being unable to afford treatment. This is the reason they asked me to create this page with a starting goal of £10000.
