We are fundraising in loving memory of our dear brother, Hasan Elmagbari, who returned to Allah recently. Hasan was a kind soul whose presence brought light to those around him. In honour of his life and character, we hope to build lasting sadaqah jariyah (ongoing charity) on his behalf.

With your help, we aim to:

• Build a small mosque in a rural community in The Gambia

• Install a solar-powered water pump to provide clean, sustainable water for the local people

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

“When a person dies, their deeds come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah (ongoing charity), beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them.”

“The best form of charity is giving someone water to drink.”

These projects will benefit hundreds of people daily and earn Hassan ongoing reward in the hereafter, inshaAllah.
