Saturday 12th September 2020 should have seen the staging of the 72nd Hatton and District Show in Daresbury. The traditionally staged horticultural show is held under canvas, and is the largest of it's type still held in the North West.

The committee met recently via Zoom and took the difficult decision to cancel this year's show because of ongoing concerns for public health and the need to social distance, which would make the show uneconomically viable.

The committee have decided to hold a 'virtual' fun show instead, to stimulate new found interest in growing vegetables, plants and flowers, and trying out new crafts and hobbies. We hope to give the local public a platform to show off their talents.

All this will be arranged free of charge, but we are asking for donations to support our ongoing costs.
