Story

Help the people of Sylhet with the recent floods

I write to all our friends, and colleagues whom have supported ourselves at the Haweli in Twyford over the last 25 years. I am raising money for Sylhet, Bangladesh. Sylhet is currently having the highest rainfall in about 42 years and 80% of the city is underwater. A lot of people are having to flee their homes and are in desperate need of dry food and clean water.

My ancestral district of Sunamgonj in Sylhet has been devastated by the flooding which has left thousands homeless.

My family home is now housing over 50 families whom have nowhere to go.

We as a team have decided to donate our team gratuity to the cause and are asking for as little or as much as possible.

The funds will go directly to the victims and handed out personally via relief packages, sanitation packages and help try to deal with the devastation that will be left in their homes.
