I am raising money for my expedition to Northern India, including Leh, Ladakh, Rajasthan and Agra (Taj Mahal). As part of the expedition team we will contribute to the local Tibetan community by engaging in project work in the rural Ladakhi villages. This is likely to be supporting the children in this area.
When we arrive in Leh, we will spend a few days acclimatising to the Himalayan altitude. We will walk to hilltop temples and palaces. We will embark on a 6-16 day long trek on one of the most remote valleys of the Indian Himalaya. Traversing passes up to 5,000 metres above sea level, we will trek through the Zingchen Valley and the Hemis National Park.
