ASHA Indian adventure!!

I am heading out to India in October to volunteer in the slums of New Delhi. I am raising money for a charity called ASHA.

ASHA helps children and young adults to gain access to an education and to make positive long term changes to their lives.

In October, myself and 20 others are going out to visit the slums of New Delhi to volunteer and to give the children and young adults access to an education and to learn basic life skills.

With the money raised for ASHA https://asha-india.org/ it will enable the charity to build new centres to provide a basic education to children and for young adults to learn those basic life skills, for example preparing them for an interview, college application or making a CV.

The work we are doing for ASHA is so much more than a charity. We are educating the children at our primary school and the people in our community about the slums and the positive impact that they can have from this country too!

During my time in the slums, I will be working with groups of children providing different curricular activities for them to engage in and using my own knowledge to help and inspire young adults.

With the help of your donations it will enable ASHA to build more centres in the slums of New Delhi which will provide children and young adults with the life skills that they need!
