I've raised £2 to Give Cromwell Bottom Wildlife Group a viewing platform over the Lagoon which will be wheelchair accessible.

On the 24.04.2018 I became Chair lady of a wonderful group of Volunteers Brighouse Ladies Circle, who every year fundraise for the chairs chosen charity. This year I have chosen to support our local nature reserve and with a little sit down with the chairman of the reserve have come up with a project to put a viewing platform over the Lagoon.
This platform will be wheelchair accessible which means one and all can enjoy the excitement of spotting some local wildlife
My personal love of wildlife and the great outdoors comes from spending quality time with my Family but more so my Late Granddad Ron. I was always happiest out on our walks after school and the most happiest memories of when we spotted kingfishers.
I think getting out about with family and friends is so important for mental and physical health. to feel connected with your local community and the wildlife in it.
The reserve has all manner of projects going on and also has a cabin open every Sundays for all to have a Tea/coffee and cake, also soft drinks and ice creams for when we get blessed with the fabulous Yorkshire sun
We need to remember that all life has its place and we need to support all to remain a healthy and happy planet.
Make a difference and start with you and give back to your local community
