I've raised £500 to help Rose pay for her hospital fees in Kenya after contracting Malaria, and being hospitalised for months.

A good friend of ours Ali is a teacher in Kenya, and when she visited us recently, she told us about her colleague and very good friend Rose who had been in hospital in Nairobi for over 2 months. She has 3 children, 2 of which are around Daisy and Phoebe's age. She had Malaria and was in ICU for over 4 weeks and then moved to the HDU. Ali visited her regularly and felt the biggest sigh of relief, when after 5 weeks she was able to recognise who Ali was. Since moving to the HDU she has had a few medical complications and unfortunately the bad news did not end there - the total bill she was left to pay is $100,000 (£75,000). (update today she still owes $40,000)
She desperately needed as much help as possible and until recently, she was not able to leave the hospital until the medical bill was paid. As I am sure you can imagine, her family desperately need her at home.
In an effort to help Rose - Ali and her children Emily and Finlay did various sponsored events and raised £2660 and as part of sober October, Tom and I are not going to drink alcohol for a whole month! We have never done this before (since becoming an adult obviously!)
I know you are all over the world, but if anyone is willing to sponsor us we would be so grateful. All money will be sent to Rose directly.
Please, please, please help!
