I'm really excited to be starting the Beeston free Church ministry training scheme in September. I'll be working in a rigorous discipleship programme which will give me the opportunity to explore church ministry & develop my Bible handling skills. My time will be divided between working in ministry areas, training & practical service.

Originally from a non-christian family, I gave my life to Christ 20 years ago on a christian camp. My faith was shaken a year into my marriage when things became increasingly difficult for us as a couple & we eventually stopped attending church & gradually turned away from God . It wasn't until I was expecting our 2nd child Isaac & had connected with mums from Rylands Community Church whilst attending local playgroups, that I started to ask questions again & turn my gaze back towards Jesus who'd quite clearly been by my side the whole time. I ended up doing the Uncover & Basics courses.It wasn't long before I recommitted my life to Christ. My experience whilst being involved in Rylands Community Church (a plant from Beeston Free Church) over the past few years has been life changing for our family. We have experienced the love of Christ through his people & experienced Jesus Christ's transforming Grace all over again. I've recently become heavily involved in church life & voluntary ministries & after chatting with my minister, the ministry training scheme seemed to be a good opportunity to be able to hone & use some of the gifts that God has given me to serve the church & the Rylands community. My hope would be that the scheme would help to deepen my knowledge & understanding of the bible and how to apply it & through this, my relationship with Jesus would deepen - that I would know him more.

The scheme will cost the church £6400 of which I am encouraged to enthusiastically fundraise 50% of! So if you feel that you would like to either support me with this and/or through prayer, I would be so very grateful. Thanks for reading. ❤
