Story

Hayley's tragic and unexpected passing has devasted our family, but not just our family. Hayley was such a kind a caring person who was always helping others ahead of herself. It is clear from the messages we have received since her passing that she was loved by so many people. Her passing has devasted so many people none more so than her young teenage son who she leaves behind. She has brought him up singlehandedly to be another caring person just like herself. Even now, after her passing, she is still helping others as she signed herself up as a donor and we already know that this selfless act will change the lives of many many others.

Hayley has had a very difficult life right from birth but she never let this stop her from helping others. She was a volunteer for 15 years with the British Red Cross serving as a first aider at many public events. She volunteered in her local St. Elizabeth's hospice shop and she even took employment as a carer in a local care home. All of this was done as a single parent and while dealing with her own disabilities.

Her main focus in her life was her son who she doted on. He was her life and although she had very little in the way of money and possessions she has raised an incredibly caring and compassionate young teenager. It is our desire to continue what Hayley done and bring this young teenager up to be the same caring and compassionate adult his mum was.

This page is to help give Hayley the final send off she deserves and to hopefully plant a tree in her name as a lasting memory. Anything over will go towards her son's future, so it would be very much appreciated if you were able to donate to this cause. Any donation for whatever reason will be gratefully received and will go to creating a lasting memory of Hayley, not only with a tree but in the young man her son will grow up to be.

We thank each and everyone of you for your kind words and offers of support, and the same goes to anyone able to donate.

In loving memory of Hayley Dawn Mayhew 30.09.1985 - 23.01.2022
