This Sunday I am challenging myself to run my second half marathon in two weeks, to support my cousin Mike and help raise a MASSIVE total for the Ronald McDonald House Charity.

On April 5th Mike and his partner Debs had their baby boy Spencer, but sadly have still been unable to take him home as he is needing treatment in hospital on his lungs. Mike and Debs have been able to stay close by and see Spencer every day, only because of the amazing help the Ronald McDonald House, who provide accommodation and support for families with children in hospital. They have been provided with somewhere to live while Spencer gets the treatment he needs.

It costs over £700,000 each year to run just 1 house and each house can accommodate up to 240 people in 60 rooms. There are 14 RMH charities in the UK, providing accommodation 365 days a year.

The Charity relies on donations from families, businesses and local community to help fund these amazing places.

So dig as deep as I will be on Sunday, and help provide even more support for families like Mike, Debs and Spencer.
