Local mum of 3, Vicki Haynes sadly passed away last weekend after a long battle with lung cancer. She was diagnosed in November 2015 and battled hard for a long time. She moved into St Wilfrid’s Hospice and was there for just over 5 weeks before she passed away peacefully, at the age of just 36. She leaves behind a husband and 3 children.

Seaford is a great community, and we hope by creating this crowdfunding page we will be able to come together and help a local family in need. Vicki’s husband Jason has been working hard to keep on top of everything and support the family, but money is tight. Two of the children have birthdays coming up and Jason would love to be able to take them away on a break to spend some much needed time together.

Local charity The WOLO Foundation have offered their support to the family, and have helped create this page to help them manage through this difficult time. More often than not, time that should be spent grieving and coming to terms with life‘s events, is often spent worrying about government benefits stopping/changing, how one is to pay the rent/mortgage and the bills - that dont stop arriving even though your own world has stopped.

As a community, lets help the Haynes’ family get through this unimaginaly sad time without having to worry about financial burdens.
