Hazel will be travelling to Kenya in February 2018 with a small group from her school, Richmond Park Academy. They will spend one week helping in a local school, which will involve teaching in a classroom, coaching multisports, building and renovating the school facilities as well as helping out in other general activities around the school. Hazel has had to self-fund this trip and is well over halfway to her target of £1800. So far, she has been babysitting, working in a local cafe, organising a local fundraiser (Family Cricket Day at Palewell Park on 24th September) and even shovelled mud on the River Thames in order to raise money for her trip.
