With the goodwill of my work I am heading out to Romania for nearly a month to help with the evacuation and repatriation of animals from the Ukraine to Romania on 30th May 2022.

I have paid my own expenses and will give every penny that i raise to the teams i am raising it for when I return to the UK. While I am there I will decide what is needed most and use the donations I recieve towards that.

Tom and his Breaking the Chains team along with Dogbus, Warpaws and others have been building shelters in both Romania and Ukraine Since the conflict began. Giving their time, without payment to help animals in the most horrific circumstances through no fault of their own.

So far over 3,000 animals cats, dogs, horses even bears and wolves have been removed from danger, both domestic pets, shelter animals and zoo animals. They currently spend around €15,000 a WEEK on fuel taking humanitarian aid, medical supplies and animal food in to Ukraine and bringing the most needy animals out of the conflict zones for treatment. They also vaccinate and neuter ready for the animals to be reunited with owners that have lost them and eventual rehoming for the others.
