I'm raising £10000 to support Corby boy Harry who has Duchenne, a life limiting, muscle wasting condition

I'm raising £10,000 for a health/medical cause. My son has a life-limiting muscle-wasting condition. The NHS trust that he is under has denied him access to a potentially life-extending drug called Givinostat, which could keep him walking for another two years. The NHS has so far failed to set up the Early Access Programme due to administrative costs and consultant time, despite the drug being provided to the NHS for free.
As a family, we are devastated that we are expected to just get on with our lives and watch our son struggle and slowly grow weaker when there is actually a drug sitting in a warehouse in the UK that could help him. We are therefore once again asking for donations so that we can take him abroad for treatment that will hopefully continue to prolong his life and give him a better quality of life—one deserving of any child.
The money raised from this page will also go towards equipment and adaptations to our home. If the treatment stops working, we will be faced with huge bills including but not limited to deposits for a WAV and tracking hoists. He is 11 years old, and due to past treatments, he is doing well; however, we are desperate for this progress to continue so he can enjoy everything that an 11-year-old should be able to do. He loves gaming, theme parks, swimming, and hanging out with his sister.
We know that times are hard for everyone, but if you could find a few extra pennies to spare and support our beautiful boy who we love dearly, it would be immensely appreciated.
