    Story

The girls of Hereford Cathedral School Boat Club are completing a 24 hour row on indoor rowing machines to raise money to support an Old Herefordian, Kiko Matthews in her attempt to break the world record to be the fastest female to row solo and unsupported across the Atlantic Ocean. We aim to raise £1000 to support Kiko and any additional fundraising will go to King's College Hospital which has saved her life twice. The 24 hour row will take place from 10am Saturday 13th January to 10am Sunday 14th January 2018 in Bewell Square, Hereford. It will be a test of both physical and mental robustness, demonstrating the high level of teamwork and commitment within this inspiring group of girls aged from 13 to 18 years old.

Thank you for your support and we hope you will join us on the day to keep us motivated!

      Update from the Page owner

Wow. There are no words to describe how hard the girls worked over the weekend. Rowing, collecting money, helping with food, constantly working as a team and all without any whinges or bickering despite the tiredness! The current total of fundraising is just over £2200 and seems to be rising. Thank you all for your support and please keep the fundraising campaign going!
