    Story

Hello, I’m Harriet. I’m an Art Therapist working with children and families in Rye, East Sussex. I am looking for organisations or individuals who would be interested in sponsoring therapy and therapeutic art workshops for local children and families who are on a LOW INCOME or are financially struggling and cannot afford therapy.

I currently have one 12 year old who has had a very challenging couple of years, suffering a loss and is really needing some support and I am looking for 6+ sessions funding for her. Can you help?

I also have a second 12 year old who also needs to access some art therapy support and a much needed emotional outlet. I am looking for 6+ sessions funding for him. Again, could you help?

In return for your generosity, you would feature on my website (www.heartsmartarts.com) as a community donor and on a display at the centre where I am based. You would also receive simple details (whilst protecting confidentiality) of the person who has accessed support due to your contribution e.g. local child, age six for 12 sessions of art therapy. That person or their family would also be given your details so they could contact you to say thank you, if they chose. Alternatively, if you prefer you could donate anonymously.
