Once we'd finished our last shift we went for a well earned coffee and sandwich and met up with another amazing couple from Holland who had just that morning driven to the Ukrainian/Polish border and picked up and family and driven them back to the safety of Poland. If you've never been to Poland I'd recommend it, the people there are fantastically welcoming, flights, food and accommodation cheap! I spent the day working with a lovely lady from Ukraine who has been in Poland for almost 3 months with her 2 daughters that are being home schooled online with their Ukrainian school. She spent all morning trying to teach me Ukrainian, laughing at my efforts to try and repeat it whilst I then gave her the English version of the products we were donating.
