My Father-in-law has a heart condition that has gradually worsened over the years. Despite treatments it's still getting worse. He's on the NHS waiting list for a procedure that has a very good chance to save his life, but waiting time is a year and a half. His rate of deterioration is speeding up and there is a very real possibility that the treatment will not come in time to save him.
Please help me to raise money for the procedure to be carried out privately and cut the waiting time that will likely kill him. It's £10k for this procedure. As a family we are supporting it the best we can, but it's a lot of money.
To inspire you to dig just a little deeper I just like to say that I will be taking part in the Weald Challenge. Its a cross country Ultra Marathon of over 32 miles. If you want to set me a challenge within the race then I'm happy to accept (press ups / sit ups?), for a price! ;-)
