The Heather Hopper is a community minibus which has helped to connect socially isolated older people living in the beautiful Esk Valley, which is a very rural part of the North Yorkshire Moors, for 15 years.

We run outings such as; lunches, shopping trips, cinema, theatres, concerts, coffee mornings, garden centres, weekly swimming trips, aqua fit, and many, many more places of interest.

Our focus is to provide a service to local people which will help connect communities, reduce isolation and increase a sense of wellness for our wonderful local people!

During the COVID-19 lockdown, we have been delivering delicious meals to single, older and isolated people in the local area.
