thOn Sunday 10 June, I will be running my first ever 10k in gthe Glasgow Womens 10K. I have very recently taken up running and only a few weeks ago completed my first 5k which was a bit of a challenge. But I am training hard and really want to use this important personal occasion in terms of my own health and fitness to also help to fundraise for End Polio Now. I am therefore looking for your support to help me raise £100 (More if possible!!). Due to the work that the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Rotary International have been doing since 1986, 16m people have avoided contracting polio, 2.5bn children have been vaccinated throughout the world, and only 5 cases of polio have been reported so far this year which is amazing. That means that a polio free world is genuinely in sight and we must get over the finish line.
