I've raised £400 to raise money for Salisbury Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Stars Appeal

In 2016, our twins were born at 25 weeks gestation, almost 4 months premature. Grace and Harry, born at 1lb 7oz and 1lb 12oz had a horrendous start to life. As many of you know, our dear Harry passed away after 11 days leaving us devastated. Grace spent 105 days in 4 different NICU's, encountering major heart surgery, sepsis and numerous blood transfusions to name just a few. Thankfully, our wonderful little girl is now 3 years old and thriving!
Our longest stay and discharge NICU, was the wonderful Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust Hospital. We are taking part in the 'Walk For Wards' for the Stars Appeal, to raise money, specifically for NICU. Without these vital donations, babies will not survive and families will not be able to stay with their babies overnight.
Our family are walking with us in memory of Harry & in support of Grace and for all the other NICU babies and families that endure this agonising journey. It‘s not until you go through this that you truly understand but we know how supportive you have all been to us. Any donation is very much apprieciated.... thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
By raising this money, we can ensure money is donated where it is vitally needed within NICU, for example: providing life saving, up to date equipment, replacing old equipment for new, funding for baby bereavement boxes, parent accommodation, family support & nurse training are just some ways we can support NICU and give something back.
