Hello everyone, I am raising funds for my missionary trip to Uganda from the 14th July- 6th August next year. I, along with 34 other 16-18 year olds and 6 youth leaders will be going to 3 different schools built by the Rock of Joy Trust across a period of 3 weeks in Kampala, Masaka and Lunguija. Whilst in these schools, we will be teaching the classes of around 40 children vital lessons such as those in dental hygiene, menstrual health education and malaria prevention. We will be staying in simple accommodation and will eat and drink as the Ugandans do; at times there will be no electricity or running water. I feel like this is essential to get the real experience of what life is like for these people living in such deprived areas of the world and i hope to make a real difference whilst i am there through teaching, playing, talking and ultimately showing love to the children and their families.
