Story
We are raising money in the memory of Heidi. A wonderful person who was loved, and cherished by so many.
Heidi and Adam were together longer than they were apart. Throughout this time their adventures were many, far reaching and full of exciting stories.
In recent years, many of these adventures involved cycling. Heidi was an avid follower of the pro tour and, when out on her own bike, would cycle as fast and as hard as possible, even with a new hip and even as her illness took more of her strength.
Heidi and Adam were so lucky in love, and wanted to share this love with children of their own. Heidi would have been a brilliant mum but this wasn't to be. So, rather than with flowers or chocolate, Heidi wanted her friends to remember her by doing something good and meaningful for children.
At Heidi's request, we are getting in touch with the Geraint Thomas Cycling Trust, which aims to overcome the barriers that prevent many children from being involved in cycling.
In collecting one lump sum for donation in Heidi's name we hope that this will be more noticeable, and so help all in remembering how special Heidi was to so many.
