Our Pre-school needs your help to carry on providing a fun, safe and exciting learning environment for the children of our villages.

Devastatingly 18 months ago our dream for the future of our pre-school nearly disappeared when our re-application for permanent planning permission was rejected due to objections from Sport England and we were told we were not allowed to stay on the site.

So our fight to save our pre-school began. We have received continuous and ongoing support from the local parish council, numerous people in the village and the pre-school team of which we are truly grateful. We also have full support from the local primary school who have helped us from the very beginning.

This was a long and hard fought battle with the case going to the Secretary of State in London!

The good news came on the 13th March, when we received notification from NKDC that we have been approved and we are allowed to stay on site… on one condition…

This is where our call for help comes to you!

We have been told we need to clad our preschool building but this does unfortunately comes at a high cost, approximately £10,000.

As we do have a deadline from NKDC, the builders have already started to clad our pre-school and are hoping to finish by early July. So if you do see our building you may understandably think it’s all finished, but we still do need to raise the funds to pay for the cladding. The builder has kindly allowed us time to pay over a short period of time.
