Our wonderful dad, Philip Quinn died last Friday. It was very peaceful and he was surrounded by the love of friends and family in his final days. He was the kindest, most loving, silliest and almost annoyingly wise person anyone could meet. He had a wealth of funny sayings and maxims for life; none more potent than his version of 'carpe diem' - "Don't let things happen, MAKE them happen"

Family was everything though and he took the greatest delight in his grandchildren. He was ever present through every triumph and crisis with the calming words "it's just family back up" He very much had a 'no-fuss' approach to celebrating his birthdays and achievements and as such never wanted presents, preferring instead a charity donation on his behalf. As such we would like to raise money for 2 charities close to Dad's heart and any money raised will be split equally between these 2:
