Sadly Paul died in Serra Leone on Friday 20th due to a heart attack, his colleague ended up extremely sick in hospital fighting for his life.

His body was located Tuesday 24th & on the 27th the doctor decided a PM had to be done, despite him not being kept on ideal conditions.

They have charged £2560 just for that section.

His remains are now at the funeral parlour awaiting permission frpm tje goverment to give cremation permission as they have stated over £8000 to transport his body home.

To have the cremation and obtain ashes the cost was £3169. All been done by UK consulate in Serra Leone. Everything has to be done by phone as internet is very rare.

So far the cost is £5729 and this gets the ashes to Heathrow, where they then have to be cleared, transported, service, internment etc.

Paul spent his life helping and giving to others. He was heavily involved in family law and trying to change the system and as such we did have 2 papers publishes that did help some things change. The main story is on the go fund me fundraising page.

Costs are just increasing daily and we have no choice but to pay them what they say to get his remains home for his brother and son. Despite people demanding to know why costs are so high.

At this stage though every time his brother picks up the phone they find more to charge him.

We would like if possible to raise a little extra to enable a watch to be brought for his son, and a little memorial to go in Bea's garden. Paul's fiancee. They were due to marry next month
