    Story

Myself and my boys have been struggling for almost 2 years to find a home to feel safe and settled in. They have seen their dad make threats to their mum, seen anger and feel unsafe. We have stayed at various places but now have had to go into temporary accommodation. The problem is we have been put in stafford yet our home town is Birmingham. As this was a quick decision I barely packed any clothes and no toys. We have just gone through a weekend eating noodles because Birmingham city council refused to help with travel fare. My eldest son is very panicky and likes time on his own, he loves his technology and enjoys watching YouTube for information on games. My youngest had anger issues and can get very upset, angry and frustrated (he has seen more than he should for his age). I'm asking for help just so I can buy my boys some extra clothes, toys and maybe a tablet each to keep them occupied while in temporary accommodation. They have nothing to familiarise them and my eldest struggles with this. I feel bad as a mother but all I have done is try my best to give them a home they deserve, I have been told that I could be in temporary accommodation for 3 months or more, I can't take them to their school as it is too far away, I can home school then as much as I can and entertain them as much as possible. However I am in a bed and breakfast, no cooking and washing facilities so whatever benefits I get will be spent in lunch/dinners and washing (I can handwash but I currently only have 2 sets of clothes and one set of PJs), It would be nice to be able to travel to Birmingham but overtime this will become expensive too. I just want help to provide them with items and clothes so they don't miss out while away from what they know. I suffer with anxiety and they know I blam myself for the situation. I would love to find them to have a home just to settle them in but even a deposit is impossible to save up for. I feel like a failure.
