Saturday’s walk was a lovely day, when I walked with Jan and Gillian to 13 Parish churches in Harrogate and Knaresborough and also paused as we passed another 5 churches. 3 more young families/ Alpha Group members also walked their own routes to acknowledge other Hgt. town centre churches. How the project began. For the last two years I have entered the Isle of Man (IOM)Parish Walk and raised money for different local charities. This year, as it has been cancelled, due to Covid 19, I have devised a Parish Walk visiting 13 Parish churches in Harrogate and Knaresborough (approx 23miles). This will take place on Saturday June 20th - the date for the IOM walk this year. Members of the St Peter’s Alpha Group - 2020, are going to join me for some if not all the walk to raising money for St Peter’s Church to ‘feed hungry people’ 😊🙏
