Story

As most people know I am currently in my second year studying adult nursing at Edge Hill University. As part of the course I have to do placements in various settings. I have been given the option to go on an international placement in January and I have chose to go to Zambia with Work the World.
I will be going for 4 weeks which in all is costing around £3000 that I have funded myself.

While in Zambia I will be on placement in the University Teaching Hospital in Lusaka for 3 weeks. getting experience in oncology, Critical Care and Emergency. My final week will be spent in a rural village staying with a host family observing how healthcare is there.

Although I have funded the trip myself, if you choose to donate you will be helping me get my final vaccinations which are costly (Rabies, and Cholera) but more importantly to take personal protective equipment such as gloves, masks, alcohol gel etc that are not used in some departments in the hospital or village.
I would also love to take some money to buy supplies for the placements I will be attending which I know will be appreciated.

I understand this is such a big ask so near to Christmas but anything no matter how small will make a huge difference.

Thankyou for taking the time to read.
