I've raised £1500 to fund a PAD defibrillator in Blucher Village.

Organised by Helen Myers-Hilton
Blucher village is a lovely old Pit village in Newcastle upon Tyne. During a recent first aid course we were told to look for our most local defibrillators and I was shocked to discover that our closest would be over 2 miles away! WHAT?? That‘s just no good! So I decided that Blucher would really benefit from having a defibrillator. The church council agreed and said that if we were to get one, it would be to benefit the whole village and surrounding area. It’ll be located on the side of the Chapel in a keypad lock box. This is why I’m running GNR in september and arranging a fab fun night in november 😊 What is more important than saving lives?
