Story
The figure of awesomeness that is Tony Pillage is ill, and needs money for treatments not available on the NHS. Tony is an inspiration to so many people, and he always makes me think that it doesn't matter if you shouldn't be able to do something, just go and do it anyway.
Somehow i signed myself up for the Channel Swim Challenge - swim 22 miles in 12 weeks. I have 10 weeks to do it in, and i can't swim properly. 5 years of primary school swimming lessons earned me my 25 metres badge. Now I can manage 20 metres front crawl. 1 length. I can manage a bit further using what my mum calls flailing around, or doggy-breast. I have got no idea how i will swim so far, but I will.
Tony didn't think he would see this Christmas, but has carried on fighting off his cancer. My challenge finishes in December, so I'd like to raise some money to help him fund treatment so he can see next Christmas too.

Helen Nightingale
I first met Tony when i signed up for lessons at his martial arts academy. His enthusiasm for life is infectious, and he is an inspiration to so many people. I want to help raise money for his treatments, so he can stay around longer
