I've raised £2000 to help little baby Arthur get the best start in life...

Meet my nephew tiny baby Arthur Joseph Brumby. He was born at 23 weeks at 1lb 2 oz on 31st October. Now 3 weeks old he is showing incredible fight but he will need a number of operations and the road ahead for his parents James & Laura will be stressful one. As a mum of two I can only imagine the strength and courage they will need in the coming months but I know that solving some very practical issues for them will lesson the stress and strain for them both.
The week that Arthur arrived James was due to start a new job which was a dream career change for him after battling Crohn's Disease for 7 years. He is quite accustomed to hospital stays but currently James is juggling long days of travel to his new job, to the hospital, and to home to walk his 2 dogs Ralph & Boris twice daily. He is a selfless sole but over time this will definitely take a tole on his health which for the first time in 7 years is in a good place.
James did not receive paternity pay and Laura's Maternity leave started from the day Arthur was born. Arthur won't be able to go home until well into Laura's maternity leave so the precious time she will spend with Arthur at home will be cut very short and I know she is finding the prospect of this distressing.
Arthur is expected to remain in hospital under NICU care until after his due date of 22nd February 2018.
I would therefore like to raise money for James and Laura for;
- a good dog sitter to take care of the dogs so they no longer need to travel each day home
- quality convenient meals for James so he can take care of his health and not eat on the go
- money to support James's petrol costs and future costs such as parking and accommodation close to hospital
- and most importantly money to support Laura with Arthurs additional needs when finally home, including child care when her maternity expires as Arthur will only be 8 months old when Laura returns to work.
Any amount you give no matter how small will help during this difficult time.
