I first visited a small rural village on the outskirts of Kampala, Uganda in 2014 and was shocked to find a tiny school made of planks of wood and rusty iron sheets but delighted to see a few very smiley children making the best of what they had. Since then we've bought the land and are now building a proper Primary and Nursery School for this poor community.
