I was diagnosed with bowel cancer in March 2015. The cancer has spread to my liver and lungs.

However, despite a 5 week course of both radiotherapy and chemotherapy I had to have a liver re-section operation at The Queens Medical Centre, in August 2015 which involved removing over 50% of my liver.

Following an unsuccessful course of Folfox chemotherapy from Nov 2015 to April 2016, I embarked on the pioneering Vaper Immunotherapy Trial at Guy's hospital, London from July 2016 to January 2017.
Unfortunately, whilst the initial results of the Vaper Trial were positive I was taken off the trial as it was no longer effective in January 2017.

In February 2017, I started my 2nd research trial at Guy's Hospital, called the Patriot Clinical Trial. Again, the initial results were very encouraging but alas, the growth of one tumour on my right lung meant I had to cease this treatment.

Presently, my only curative treatment option is at the Hallwang Clinic in Germany. Unfortunately, this treatment is not available on the NHS.
