Golf In Society On 8 July I'll be taking on the Peak District Ultra Challenge over a distance of 100km raising funds for a cause close to my heart - supporting those who suffer with the diagnosis and impacts of dementia.

Golf in Society has been formed to give individuals who have been diagnosed with Dementia or Alzheimers, or suffering the effects of a Stroke, the opportunity to stay active and focused and to be part of an inclusive support group. This is also fully inclusive and accommodating of the needs of family members and carers.

As our population is aging, health, wellbeing and overall happiness and welfare is a collective wish and responsibility. There just isn't the level of commissioned care and support programmes that we would hope for, for our own family and loved ones.
