I'm currently a second year Pharmacy student in Bath. Over July 2019 I will be travelling to Pokhara, Nepal to volunteer in an under-resourced hospital in a very deprived area of the world. I will also be working in a small village healthcare post in the mountains to provide healthcare to people that have limited access to healthcare and can't easily travel to hospitals. Here I will be doing routine health checks as well as diagnosing simple diseases - a big task for a second year pharmacy student with a lot left to learn! I will be in Nepal for 3 weeks and need to fundraise for accommodation, food and flights. Any extra money I get will also go towards contributing to supplies for the hospital and healthcare post.
