I've raised £3000 to be split between two Charities: St. Luke's Hospice and Million for a Million.

12 years ago my life changed. As a teenager I went home before one half term at school with a complete family and went back the next half term but with one parent less. In an instant life changed. Life has never been the same. Yet, since that day I have never taken a day for granted. The last days of my father’s suffering was spent at a hospice.
Therefore in aid of all the selfless workers out there at hospices alike I am raising funds for St. Lukes where my last memories of us as a family stay and where continual support for other families in such situations remains. https://www.stlukes-hospice.org.uk/
The 15th July sees me take part in IRONMAN UK. I have decided it is a very sensible idea to endure the great distances of a complete ironman: 4km swim, 180km bike ride and a 42km run (a marathon)! http://eu.ironman.com/triathlon/events/emea/ironman/uk.aspx
I started training through the winter which saw many a tear in the punishingly cold cycles and runs I trained for. Now, I hope the weather is kinder on the lead up to the day! Please help make a difference by supporting me in raising money which shall be split between St. Luke’s hospice and a ‘Million for a Million’ - a work place initiative to raise a million pounds for a million miles over the next year which I will be contributing to through this Ironman and cycling from London to Barcelona in the Autumn. More to come!
