£1,412raised of £5,000 target by 51 supporters

Weʼre raising £5,000 to support those in need due to the wildfires in Attica, a major catastrophe that has caused the loss of many lives & households.

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Infinite sadness and National Tragedy for Greece.

So far 80 people lost their lives, many are missing and hundreds are being injured & hospitalised due to the wildfires in Attica, a region around Athens. The burnt areas "no longer exist". Around 3000 homes have been destroyed by the blaze.

Food and medical supplies are already being gathered and shipping has started, but the people who survived have lost everything and need our help.

The Hellenic British Midwifery Association (HBMA), a non profit association runs this crowdfunding campaign and hopes to support financially those people and their families in extreme need.

Please show your active support and solidarity by contributing to our cause. We are currently investigating the most suitable and efficient bodies to donate to in order to ensure transparency. Updates to follow.

Thank you in advance for your support.
