Story

We are a Family of 4, We currently have a mortgage for our small 2 bedroom house which we got due to the government's help to buy scheme back in 2010. With the scheme we got a mortgage for 70% of the property, the Government and developer gave us a loan for the 30%. When explained to us we believed we would just have to pay back the amount that we borrowed but we actually have to pay back 30% of the equity or 30% of what we sell the house for. That means when we sell the house, and pay back the mortgage we don't have much to put towards our next house especially as 3 bedroom houses in our area are expensive, so we can't get enough mortgage to cover the cost of the house even though we have lived in this house for 10 years.

Our Children are a 8 year old boy and a 5 year old girl so are getting to the age that they shouldn't be sharing a room.

I have worked nights for the NHS for 13 years and worked throughout the Covid-19 lockdown like many others in the NHS and keyservices, but my administration role within the NHS has seen barely any payrise within the time I've worked here and any payrise I've had has been below inflation.

My fiance has a part time flexible job so that she can look after our children and does as many hours as possible while also looking after the children.

I know this is a shameless post but we need any help we can get, weve found a 3 bedroom house that would be our forever home that we've fallen in love with, it needs a lot of work and costs £250000. Any help revieved from this just giving would be greatly appreciated, and you would be helping a family start a new life.
