Story
Everybody's favourite volunteer led, toilet-based radio station had loads of their gear destroyed by some grumpy lugs. Let's get them back on the bogs!
BogFM can usually be found streaming audible-content into the toilets at Liverpool's world unfamous Drop the Dumbulls Gallery in the soon-to-be-lovelified-I'm-sure 10streetsTM fka Floozy Hexagon area of Liverpool. It can also be found here.
The good people of Bog FM had just forked out for a bunch of speakers and other equipment in order to do their first ever festival portaloo gig. It was brutally cut short around 6pm on the Saturday when somebody saw fit to rip out all the speakers from the bogs, some of which were then smashed on the ground, others of which were never seen again. This is poor form, obviously, and something needs to be done.
In light of these events and the fact that the (porta) BogFM project must persist and the BogFM crew are the loveliest people ever, a few wellwishers have set up this page to hopefully reimburse the costs of the lost/broken equipment, which is around £300.
This was the first public attempt for the group to make BogFM portable. The crew have already been working on an improved design, and with the crowdfunded money will create a new, self-contained, secure set-up that can't be simply ripped out by some bum.
To put this in perspective, if everybody who likes the BogFM facebook page gave £2 each, this would well exceed the target, but don't let that stop you from giving more!
Any extra money raised will go to help make BogFM even better. BogFM is a completely mates-run thing and everything is paid for from their own pockets, so do give generously and that please.
