Our names are Geraldine and John and we are helping a good friend of 24 years raise funds to pay for much needed medical treatment and living expenses. Ernest and his family now live in America (a land supposed to be full of promises). Ernest became seriously unwell about three years ago and since then his medical condition continues to deteriorate and so has his quality of life. This deterioration will continue if he does not receive adequate medical treatment.

Ernest’s family had faced a lot of adversities including the loss of a child. With his medical condition, Ernest is no longer able to work. His kidney no longer functions as it should. Currently, has been told that in other to be able to function, he must receive dialysis 3 times a week. He has no medical insurance and cannot afford to pay for this treatment. At the moment he is being given the minimum treatment to keep him alive which is less than the recommended. Without adequate treatment, Ernest’s kidney will give up.
