A close friend of my Granny's went to Forestside to do her Christmas shopping in M&S during the week. When she went to pay for her shop she realised that she had dropped her purse when paying for the taxi.

The checkout assistant immediatley ran out to the front to check if it was on the ground, not there. They then phoned the taxi company to check but the purse was not left in the car and no one handed it in to security either.
My Granny's friend was deeply upset, all of her pension was in the purse. With no money to even get home to her flat, the manager of the store ordered her a taxi and would pay for it himself. One better, he gave her the Christmas shop completely free of charge and wished her a happy Christmas.

Inspired by the manager, I too want to do something nice for Freda this Christmas, unfortunatley she is still out of pocket with no pension to see her through te holidays. A few people had suggested doing a whip round, we started one within our family but thought we would extend this opportunity to everyone who has now heard the story through Facebook, and Belfast Live.

If you can spare just 50p towards helping, it will all add up and Freda will have recovered her pension. Freda is one of the kindest people out there, always using her money to bless others, especially young children. I think this is an amazing way to thank her and let her know people care about her.
