Story

Most of you know Gloria's Story by now. . .

A hardworking, super talented young lady who just wanted to be a caterer. 👩‍🍳

Gloria took on the challenge of cooking breakfasts & evening meals for our volunteers, along with cooking for all of AO's Community Feedings. She then saved up her earnings, &with a little extra help, managed to put herself through Catering College. She's now completed college along with 3 placements in different establishments to help build on her knowledge & skills.

Sadly, Gloria doesn't have parents & now only has her Grandmother who lives in Ankoma. She's recognised her Grandmother now needs her to help run her farm & to care for her, so thinks it is important she makes the move back to Ankoma. . . Although she's loved being on the city, Gloria also said she wants to be in Ankoma to volunteer some hours to help run AO - " so many people have helped me and now I can be the person who helps others".

Unfortunately, in Ankoma, there are no jobs. So Gloria has decided she would love to buy an Oven. She will then prepare pastries & pies to sell at upcoming events locally, as well as to shops who will buy them in bulk. She's already got some dates & people who'd love to buy her baking but we just need to get her an oven first. . .

So, if anyone can help contribute, even juat a pound, it all adds up & will help her get closer to her target.

Thank you ❤️
