28th august update

i have withdrawn the money. Previously i withdrew £50 for the initial doctor appointment. This time when i withdrew i got £2950 due to justgivings fees. So i increased the target by £100 to get that last £50.

im a student now and really low on money so im relying very heavily on others donating to help this family.

We have raised enough to pay for a doctors consultation for my friend Alieu’s mum, Isatou. The doctors have treated her for diabetes and shes getting better. Shes back home now with ongoing treatment.

Kindly the doctors have and will continue treating her despite the family not being able to afford to pay the £3000 in medical costs. I set up this page to help them raise the money so they can repay the doctors for their help and kindness too.

Isatou and her family live in Gambia, in extreme poverty. Which is why I got involved and suggested to try fundraising. Alieu is happy to talk with anyone over watsapp if you have any questions, message me and ill pass on his number. Hes happy to video call so you can see for yourself that this is not a scam, as some people have assumed it is. You could also arrange to have donations sent directly to him. They need the money ASAP, as Alieu may face time in prison if hes unable to pay them soon

I set the target slightly higher than needed because of the fees deducted from using this site
