I've raised £1400 to Help Jill from Serendipity recoup some the the large sum of money stolen from the shop this week :(

A little history, In 2001 Jill started her little shop called Serendipity in Hawkinge and since then has helped countless people no matter what (when people needed to get home and didn't have any money etc) she gives countless people lifts home every day no matter where, lends money to people in need, supports many of the older generation in the village that she has known since before she opened and more recently! Everyone who knows her either classes her as a second mum or an angel because she will do anything for anyone and I truly believe many people will agree with me there! She works so hard 7 days a week most waking hours and also finds the time to care for her elderly mother, who lives with her, and her daughter's family since she had an accident and multiple surgeries nearly 4 years ago.
NOW,
At some point this week Jill had a huge sum of money stolen from her shop and the village has gathered around to give her their emotional support, and this target is not nearly the amount stolen but we are hoping this may help her recoup at least some of the money that was stolen! Running a small business is by no means easy and she works damn hard to keep it going! She will be so angry at us doing this as she does not ask for help ever and with everything going on she cannot afford to lose the amount of money she has! Jill is the light of a lot of people's lives and is so compassionate to everyone she meets and does not deserve to be taken advantage of! Unfortunately it looks as though the culprit has not got any concsience and has failed to return the money. I cannot put the total amount taken due to the police investigation but I can say this is just a small gesture from the people who love and appreciate every single thing she does every day for everyone else forgoing her own health issues to make sure everyone else is ok!
She truly is a one in a million person and does not deserve to lose her shop over this horrible situation!
Thankyou for reading.
