Weʼve raised £40 to assist the 800 Naval Air Squadron - Kettering Sea Cadets whose boathouse at Wicksteed Park was recently destroyed by fire.

What is crowdfunding?

Story
Sadly the historic boathouse at Wicksteed Park, Kettering was destroyed on the night of the 15th October 2016.
Not only is the boathouse a piece of history here in Kettering but it was also home to the 800 Naval Air Squadron - Kettering Sea Cadets.
As a result of this horrific blaze the boathouse and equipment inside was destroyed / badly damaged meaning the Sea Cadets have nothing.
Activities such as those provided by the Sea Cadets offer our young people a valuable insight into military services and help them to develop skills that will stay with them throughout their lives.
I call upon the people of Kettering and those that care about their future to help us raise some money in order that they can get going again.
