The idea behind this page was to pay in some money towards Kristina’s liver transplant in Italy. Unfortunately, she was too weak for the transplant to work and sadly passed away only 47 hours after the surgery was performed.

After consultation with some of you who contributed, I will suggest that the money we’ve collected is used towards genetic testing of her younger brother, Luka, her only sibling. Hopefully, that will come out as all clear or the right treatment can be started early so that he enjoys a long and active life.

Thank you all again and especially to those who contributed even after hearing of her tragic death – you are wonderful! I’ve tried to close down the page but am now glad that I didn’t manage.

My thoughts and prayers are with Kristina's family, lovely people who now have a lovely angel in Heaven to watch over them.
